Martyrs' Day

About 100 people led by Vice Chairman U Tin Oo and General Secretary Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, People democracy Network members, youth and women members went to Martyrs' Mausoleum and paid respect to martyrs and offered flower wreaths at 12:45 p.m.

They set off from the NLD headquarters at about 12:30 by cars and responsible authorities accompanied them to the foot of the mausoleum. Then they were allowed to take place on the platform of the mausoleum to pay respect. Vice Chairman U Tin Oo made order to salute the martyrs.

After paying respect, the group returned to the NLD headquarters by car. General Secretary Daw Aung San Suu Kyi was invited by authorities to pay respect and went to the mausoleum at 8:00 a.m. to pay respect to her father.
